Welcome! I’m Avery (he/they), a mental health therapist dedicated to helping you, my clients, understand more about yourselves and your identity through thoughtful conversation and authentic connection.

Therapy Approach

I am a strengths-based, relational therapist who works primarily with neurodivergent, LGBTQ+, trans, and queer adults. I strive to lead by example in showing that it is okay to make mistakes, to always be learning about oneself, and to continue growing and developing your identity as you move through different life experiences.

Our sessions will focus on interpersonal growth, rather than finding a cure for symptoms. We will explore the ways in which you are affected by societal systems and how your life experiences have shaped who you are today. Through understanding your challenges and celebrating your successes, I will help you develop skills to advocate for your wants and needs.

When we are through with our work together, I hope you will have the tools you need to live a sustainable, satisfying, and ever-evolving life.
